A farming pack could have so much more than raising animals and quickly get into expansion pack size. They could include everything we need to live off the grid. I imagine a lot trait simply called "Off the grid" where you couldn't access typical electricity or even have your cell phones say "No signal"! You could use solar panels and windmills. There could be tons of new skills including canning, sewing, nectar making, candle making, and the like. I always thought it'd be cool if you could have your sim be able to cut down trees so they could provide their own heat source. In Animal Crossing you can shake trees to find stuff. They could open up all trees to have various interactions such as this. Fishing would be more important than ever for a sim living off the grid. The pack could have a country world that had Farmer's markets where you can sell your wares and animal show competitions that often happen at local fairs everywhere. There are many amazing gameplay opportunities with a farming/living off the land pack! It gets me very excited!
