Deleting screenshots from screenshot folder?
If I deleted my screenshots from the screenshot folder, will they also get deleted from being viewed in the game?

Anyway, in that case, I'd agree with the Simmers above. If you remove those from the screenshots folder, you won't be able to view them in-game anymore.
It's the circle swatch looking thing (I guess it's supposed to look like a camera shutter) near the speed buttons at the bottom.
Deleting the files in the screenshot folders deletes pictures viewed with this button. I knew that. But what about those pictures my sims took and hung on their wall in their houses? Will they also be gone or are they stored elsewhere because they can be transferred through the gallery.
The photos you took and hung on the wall will still show up when in the game. Tho, you will not be able to find them in the screenshot folder once you have delete them. I'm guessing they are stored somewhere but the resolution will be very bad and pixelated. You probably maybe need some mod or The Sims Studio to extract it out but I'm not 100% sure if someone has figured out how to do it.

Two different wordings to explain the same question is always helpful. Personally I don't mind a bit more detail in the answers.
