Developers should play the game they're developing.

Anybody start noticing how (most/some) developers admit to not playing the game? That would explain a lot as to why certain things deliver, are either not to their potential or questionable in design....

Actually that is bogus - they aLL get a copy of the games for free. If they didn't know the game - they couldn't make it as they decide what is in the game.
