Did Jacques Villareal kill his wife?

My Sim married his daughter. Jacques turned out to be a pretty horrible man. He pretty much ruined the wedding by having a fight with the groom for absolutely no reason. When his grandson came along, he was pretty horrible to him as well, constantly telling him to go away (this was when the poor kid had only just become a toddler). Eventually, Luna (his daughter) and my Sim decided enough was enough, they didn't want to put up with his behaviour anymore, so they kicked him out and took his huge mansion as their own. They occasionally still see him when they take their kids to the park, but neither bother speaking to him.
