I'm trying to research the many worlds to get an idea which ones are more northern and which ones are more southern etc. Climate and general feel give some idea, but I wanted to dive into more detail...
How about marking on a real world map the countries that most closely resemble the in-game worlds and using that as a starting point? For example the UK would be Henford. The US-centric worlds would need to be split into state. It would be a great data visualisation approach :)
I have detailed maps of my ts4 nation. I placed the worlds according to climate zones, grouping them in regions. But occationally I notice that traveling from one world to another reveals the daylight effects are different, and on rare occasions I get the feeling that my map could have benefited from fine tuning. That's why I did some research on the hour street lamps go off, but they seem to be programmed similarly, and not really relating a lot to the zones.
Here's one of my maps. I think only Ravenwod is missing, but it will be squeezed in to region 4.
