Difficulty conceiving?

@simmerlyrose, I hope someone answers, I'm having the same difficulty in my game. 5 days in a row now my sims have tried (only once each day though), and still nothing.

I do use MCCC mod, but I didn't mess with any settings for pregnancy so it's all default EA for me too. Here's hoping your sims (and mine) get lucky soon!

@Stormkeep Oh no! I wonder if it's a bug :(

I'm going to go with just bad luck for us, or there would be more people saying something by this point. I'll give it one more sim week before I give up and cry glitch! :D

I have never heard of this type of bug or the trait affecting conception. I do hope you end up with a bundle of joy soon!

Skye is now eating for 2! Time for her and TJ to try to finish their Soulmate aspiration so they can move into the Family oriented ones...got what, 3 sim days?

I've had the same problem, but I have CC and Mods. I thought it was because I have the Whicked Whims mod but I guess not since other people are having the same problem.

Oh my goodness, the next try after I posted this, mine got a baby too :D moral of the story: never give up (lol)

Does it help if you change the lot’s trait to “on ley line?”

@JC1979, think that only helps you get twins once you are already pregnant, but doesn't help you actually get pregnant. There are several other things in the game to boost twin chances, and I've never heard that any of them help with actual conception.

Be nice if they did though, could stack up on Sim and Lot traits and get 'er done.

What the game really needs is an option to go visit a fertility clinic. :p

All good though, seeing as things worked out for both myself and @simmerlyrose in the end. You do have me worried we'll end up with twins or triplets though....Skye is a Sim that was added to my game from a download and was just to fill out the town. My Sim just ended up marrying her and, what I didn't realize, is she already had a ton of the reward traits. She has the traits that boost twin chances and I really, really don't want twins (or worse, triplets). We'll find out today what happens!
