When I leave and then come back later, they are just ... gone.
One time it happened on a community lot where I had a tea set; I know I didn't have a sim clean it before leaving. The other two times it has been in a home. It's kind of freaky...they just vanish.
Now I'm really curious: was it the maid in the kitchen with the swag bag? Sorry, always liked Cluedo.
