There is definitely an issue between the email and the app.

Me too - and contacted EA about it prior to purchase. They told me to purchase then would refund 10% back after, but after I purchased  tried to get additional refund back they said they could not do a partial refund and only refund the whole amount. Really deceptive and I have all screenshots of promos, price, transcript.

I also had EA advisor via  chat tell me to buy and then they would refund the difference, but after I bought it and asked for the refund was told not possible.

Thank you! Yes, I got the mail last night and was quite confused about it becausw the news are much older. But yeah… like many I feel a bit deceived as well 

You guys, I got only 10% in the mail. Crazy that some if you got 20%. How do they calculate that anyway? 

You guys seem to think that this game is only sold from the EA app? There is a world out there selling games. They have different prices and discounts etc. Being on a tight budget, I was glad to find Lovestruck at about $22. I'll not advertise where I bought it, just saying that when shopping, do like shoppers do :).

I've seen it for less as well, but not on a site I know too well. I personally don't like giving my personal info to untrusted sites, with all of the info breaches going on. So one must be careful.

But you're right, it's worth shopping around. I remember finding Sims 3 EPs for $5 each, when I wanted to try the game again. 

are we going to get any update on this? i feel very scammed from EA. i would have never bought this ordinally i was under the impression it was a giveaway. i haven't opened my game since
