How many days do you play each family? I used to play each family 3-4 days, but that simply wasn't enough to develop their stories and follow them through a whole semester once I got to 4 families. So I wanted to play them for 7 days, but that wouldn't have worked out with the seasons even in the 28 days setting.
I then made myself a little mod that makes the seasons 56 days long. If you want it (or any other length), just tell me and I'd upload it for you. It's really no big deal to change the length of season days. Now I can follow their studies each time.
