Do "errands" from Cottage Living regenerate?

I just recently got Cottage Living (for Christmas!) and am loving the new neighborhood. I think it's my new favorite.

Now for my question:

As my 2 sims are completing errands though, I'm noticing the people for whom errands are completed haven't gotten any new ones to replace completed ones. I play generational and a little rotation, so I'm concerned there will be no errands left for other households nor future generations. Can someone tell me, do they refresh, maybe like over time? Or maybe when households are switched?

I Google searched for an answer to this but the results come up with a bazillion questions for help on completing specific errands. I sometimes miss the days when the internet was smaller and it was at least possible to wade through search results to find what you were looking for. LOL

Anywho, thanks in advance to anyone who takes the time to answer me.
  • Yes, the errands repeat and regenerate. I’m playing a Cottage Living challenge and one of the things to earn money is to do the errands. My main sim has run so many errands I’m sick of them! If they are tasked with having to grow/get some sort of produce or cook a meal, the item requested will cycle through a number of different things so that it’s not exactly the same. It’s a good idea to befriend as many of the main HoB characters as possible because they will occasionally just randomly give you gifts, and sometimes those gifts help with the completion of the errands.
  • Awesome, I'm very happy to hear that! I haven't even visited some of the people yet, but I was concerned when I saw that the ones for whom I have been doing things they only had like one left. I'll keep chugging away at it. I'm only on the start of my 3rd sim-week in this game, so am a ways from being tired of any thing yet. LOL

Did I mention how much I just absolutely love the neighborhood? Seasons has consistently been my favorite EP in the Sims franchise games, but this is quickly giving it some competition for my affections.

Appreciate your response, many blessings upon you.
