To get back on topic (and I thought I was answering the topic a few times at this point?), no, I don’t think Sims 4 will ever catch up (and their packs are still missing content and features from past games as well), so it’s fine that they start from scratch with a new (and hopefully better) engine.
And, yes, I agree that Sims 4 is severely lacking in four years compared to the previous games which had much more complete base games and much more meaty packs.
Cool, ok. Got it.
But I am still wanting some more content before they pull the plug and officially transition to the next iteration. I would like a little bit of support before it gets swept away.
(Btw, I’ve never played a sims game during a full transition, so how long was Sims 3 supported before Sims 4 started charging onto the scene? I got the last two expansions for Sims 3 and then didn’t touch Sims 3 again for a long time, and then I saw Sims 4 trailer. Was Sims 3 supported with bug fixes/patches or support during its last years?)
So, yes, I personally want a bit more content or at least, some bug fixes, before they move on.
That’s all I have to say for the topic, and I don’t have anything else to contribute to the topic. Thank you for listening.
