I don't think there's anything else anyone can say to convince you that they actually enjoy playing the game and are looking forward to more content. No matter how it got it's start and no matter what it has now. Or what it doesn't have.

I know a lot of simmers that don't enjoy Sims 4 are waiting for 5 and for them and you I sincerely sympathize that you have to wait another 3 years. I love this game and seriously can only imagine how it must feel to want a new Sims game and hope the wait will be worth it for you.
