One of the most alarming things for me when this game first came out was how quickly all of my played Sims got rather ... large. I mean, no matter what they did all of my sims gained a lot of weight...

This is precisely why I use RoBurky's mod. The Sims 4 calorie system doesn't take into account any form of physical exertion besides the ones included in the fitness skill as far as I can tell. So things like fishing, gardening, dancing, hiking, shivering in the cold, chasing after your toddlers who are running down the sidewalk with no clothes on, etc. don't count.
