- cyncie4 years agoSeasoned AceI have a lot of both, but tend to center my stories around male characters.
- I'm about 50/50 on which I prefer to be honest. I've never really seen sim gender as a meaningful part of my game if I'm honest. I sorta view sims as genderless and I just let them decide who they like/how they want to dress. Of course, I still want them to be stylish so I do edit their choices, but if my guy wants to wear pigtails and mini skirts I let him and visa versa. I'm just going to choose a pigtail style that looks nice with a mini skirt :P

Are you referring to crossdressing? Why, I would never do that to any of my sims..... ;) - Gamer_Cat244 years agoRising ScoutI tend to play female Sims more than male Sims.
The reason I do is due to females having more CAS items compared to male Sims.
Also, I play more females, because if I do a Sim based on a series, the female characters outnumber the males.
That said, my game itself tends to give me more in-game born male Sims than female Sims. - I like playing both because I like playing with personalities and stories, but I play as female Sims more often and create mostly female Sims in CAS. I also wish there was more CAS options for male Sims.
- Babykittyjade4 years agoSeasoned AceMen all the way! I use to feel the same way until I discovered cc.
After I got into cc I realized how much variety and fun with fashion they can actually have. Still not as much as girls but after collecting for so long I'm overflowing in beards, suits, shoes, bodyhair and outfits and costumes of every type. Same with the hair so I usually spend hours dressing them.
Girls still have so many more unique styles and options though so I'm overflowing with that too lol.
Outside of from CAS, I love my girls but just enjoy playing with my male sims more in general. I think maybe because I'm more into traditional roles and prefer to have my female sims quiet sweet and humble, I can have more wild adventures with male sims lol. ? - I am so bad at making male sims. Plus I think their CAS library is lacking and its way less fun looking for male CC.
- effiejae4 years agoSeasoned HotshotIt honestly depends. I prefer playing with female sims because I have more CC for them. However, I can definitely appreciate a well-made, handsome male sim & when I'm downloading sims, I prefer to download males because I make my own female sims just fine.
- FatTribble234 years agoSeasoned AceI don't really have a preference, but I do enjoy making male sims more because it's a snap for me to make a beautiful female sim, but male sims are hard.
I can make a pretty boy male sim just fine, but making a "rugged" looking one is tough for me, and it's what I actually prefer in RL and in the sims.
I agree with those who say males are underrepresented in CAS, but I use CC so I don't have so much of a problem regarding that. I'm still on the hunt for the perfect male suit, though. :cries: - SheriSim4 years agoSeasoned AceI usually play rotationally and really enjoy playing both. Like Chazzzy, I was disappointed in the mens pack we got.
