Do you let random chance decide your sims' pregnancies, or do you cheat it with MCCC?

If I have specific plans for a particular Sim and that doesn't entail a rug-rat right away, then MCCC is really handy. I'll often let Sims I'm not actively playing and Townies to have a baby. I think it's good, and it adds a bit of variety. As long as the townie sims don't leave the baby on a bench or something and play computer games all day. That's rather irresponsible.
