Do you play with townies/premades?

I only use them when I’m bored or one of my sims is gonna marry them.

I've played Vlad and the Vatores a tiny bit, and I play a couple of townies. Most of the time, though, I just play my own creations or gallery downloads.

I play them whenever I end up marrying one of them! I like marrying into households because they usually have a nicer home than me, but then again, it's still fun to decorate homes on your own, so even the ones that are just randomly generated townies are fun too! Right now one of my Sims is married to Lia Hauata, which is nice! (Although I made a new house for them so they could have kids more conveniently.) I split her grandmother from the family and moved her into a home with a randomly generated elder townie, who's a fisherman with the aspiration to be a Master Vampire, so I played with them for a while too, getting him a big vampire family and all that. I also had some fun with the Vatores on another file, my vampire married Caleb and I believe they had a kid or two. :D

I also wish there was an option to start a new file and choose a premade family instead of having to create a Sim each time. Maybe I don't WANT to start with making my own Sim, maybe I want the challenge of working with a premade household!!

Nah, I don't play them and I don't really ever touch them (moving them, customizing them, etc).

Most of the townies are deleted when I start a new save and I have already removed the Pleasant-sisters from DU. The two girls and the guy from the trailer can stay.

I only keep the few sims that I really get attached to but they are few. Currently I am making my own pre-mades. Got about 120 sims done, only a few worlds left to populate. It is a fun project so I am happy ?

Frequently have Babs, Holly, Elsa, Cassandra and Makoa in my games, but not always.

I play a lot with the premades and some of them have intresting backstories to mess with. It’s also very fun to see what kind of children they and my sims will have. With townies I’m more pickier.
