Do you push your Sims too hard?

I do push mine pretty hard, and sometimes I feel guilty, but apparently not so guilty that I don't do it again...

It is hardest for my child/teen sims. I like them to have good grades, get all of their scout badges, be in positive range for at least three of their character values when they're soon to age up into a young adult, and have at least a couple of skills ready, too.

I tell myself that it's worth it for them, but I think it's also handy for them to sleep, eat and be social. I think I may have to practice on working around their needs a little more.

Sometimes not always, sims may be tired, hungry and have to use the bathroom but they'll finish what I say and kids will do their homework and their school projects in one night. Screenshots are important I could turn off freewill since I do that sometimes or torment my sims until they sit still...guess I'm kind of mean that way lol.

I push mine as far as I can especially if they are so close to leveling up!

It depends. For some Sims I have a specific level of a career in mind, so I push them to go to that point, the same with this characteristic thing for the kids from Parenthood (don't know the english word for that, sorry).
But for others I do not care that much, as long as they can pay the bills.

Definitely. My poor simmie has had many sleepless nights writing books or painting on the easel and I'm pretty sure I made him spent 70 hours straight playing video games for an aspiration. But now that he's finished with everything I just let him relax, he's earned it :D

Absolutely I do. All my played sims will spend their waking hours getting that next skill point, working towards that promotion, getting better grades, writing or painting that master piece or upgrading everything in the house. And when you play mostly vampires, that is a LOT of hours! I do run them ragged some times and I'm sure they're bored with stuff I make them do, I still never really feel much guilt for it.

I do give them treats once in a while, because they earned it. A night out with the girls/guys, a trip to Selvadorada or Granite Falls, that sweet new computer or big screen TV. I'm a strict, but quite caring Watcher.

I rarely push them, lol. I did work a sim really hard to achieve her Bodybuilder apsiration but other than that I don't stress about it. :)

It depends.

I do drive my toddlers, kids and teens - all my toddlers have to get to level 5 in their skills and my kids have to complete three of the four kid aspirations (they never finish the social butterfly). Kids and teens have to do the school project (if they bring one home) as well as homework and extra credit every day, even if they don't get enough sleep. (Fortunately, my kids usually have enough points accumulated to get the 'seldom weary' trait before they age up to teen.) At very least, they have to have the good manners and responsibility traits when they age up to YA. And, they have to exercise every day, but that gives them a bit of fun and relaxation, so it works for the good. (Kids do the monkey bars; teens do yoga or 'jog to clear mind' when they come home in a snit about something.) No time for scouts or playdates.

Once they get to YA, I sometimes have a plan for them (the YA in my current generation is working on perfecting every garden plant, so she's at the fishing pond every day to get fertiliser). However, the focus is more on raising their kids. If they have a job, it's usually to keep them out of my hair. I do drive them to get aspiration points - all my Sims have to have the 'seldom weary' and then the 'independent' trait. (I hate wasting time on socialization when they could be skilling or doing homework instead.)

I push my Sims pretty hard, especially if I'm starting a new save, but I don't feel bad about it. I won't stop until they're peeing themselves and passing out in the puddle. >:) :D
