Do you put “rules” on yourself?
So, do you? I’ve been thinking a lot about how it seems as if without rules all my sims do the same thing but with them it gets boring and old. How do you play? THIS ISN’T COUNTING CHALLENGES - I don’...

I don't really have rules set or anything.
These are more things I just do, I wouldn't call them rules:
- at least one sim with handyness maxed out in each household cause everything has to be upgraded
- only one of each existing career branch played (so every played sim has a different career/career branch)
- no cheating careers, aspirations and collections
- no using the same hairstyle for different (played) sims
- try not to use the same clothing (in same swatches) objects on different sims (this is pretty lose thou, the tops are easy but the pants and shoes are another thing)
I guess I just try to make homes and sims I play as different from the others as possible (still has to fit their personality), but it's not that strict, in the end I always go with what I like most which is why alot of my sims wear black^^
