I probably shouldve chose the last option the more I think about it, lol.
But no, I dont really have any rules. The only time I would is when Im trying to recreate or play out a scene for myself from short stories/fanfiction I write.
Other than that my sims are free to do as they wish and considering some of the mods I have installed it gets pretty interesting at times. I enjoy seeing how they pair up with others or what roads they choose to go down.
