I said yes because I'm always up for the addition of new jobs.
BUT, I'd rather it be inactive. I rarely play the active careers, because they are boring after the first time you do them. So there's a whole group of jobs I'd like my Sims to have, but they never do.
Maybe I'm an oddball, but the inactiveness of jobs in Sims 2 actually appeals to me. They go to work, the clock speeds by while I watch the neighbors or the maid, a few minutes later I'm back to actively playing. I pick jobs based on personality or story, but they are mostly just a way to make money and do other things.
All that said, I understand why active jobs do appeal to other players and if they ever do add more, I'm sure it will make them happy.
