Personally I'm so used to having my hopes let down that I don't think they will include resorts/hotels.

it kinda seems like it?The title sounds like a vacation world but I don't think they'd make an EP vacation world plus we just got a destination world with SW:JTB, so I think it might be introducing a new lot type like resort or hotel, which maybe only available in the new world (like beaches are for Sulani).It would make the most sense to me...hopefully we'll find out more soon.

I have a sort of "maybe" feeling about this because actually with Japan theme they could have added Ryokans which are similiar to hotels but not quite the samethen again idk if they could even squeeze in hotel management if there is hotels cause this merging of themes sounds rather ambitiousand well personally having hotels doesn't really fix me wanting hotels lf I can't run one cause just idk i want it to be done properly once they do it and i have so many wishes for this pack that id rather have than half done hotels

Its a "maybe" from me too. I never got into the resort thing in TS3, it was not something I was interested in. To be honest, I forgot they existed. I doubt I'd be more interested now, same as retail/restaurant.

I think we will have hotels, but I don’t know if we will be able to own one ?That’s my fear, hopefully we will.

I hope so. Managing a hotel would be a fun thing to do in The Sims, imho.

Do you think Snowy Escape will introduce resorts/hotels? - Confirmed no lol. -_-

Not sure but I definitely hope so. After all this seems to be the first vacation themed expansion pack so there has to be something more than in the vacation game packs.

It's called "Snowy ESCAPE". To me that means you vacation there. However, vacation worlds of the past were never a full EP. To give it that EP value, I feel like they will have some sort of new hotel/resort system. It would be nice too if that can apply to all the worlds and we can build them anywhere. I'm also hopeful that it will add the functionality of being able to live or vacation in any world, but that might be shooting a bit high. ;)

Since I was actually right (it happens sometimes) about the winter-themed world, I'm going whole-hog and guessing that we'll get the hotels I predicted, as well. However, as @Simmingal points out, they might be more like Ryokans, which sound as if they could use some of the coding from the dorms in University.

Personally, I have no desire to manage a hotel or visit one with my Sims, but I know it's a huge winner for a lot of Simmers, so good for them, and it'll be good for sales of the EP. In any case, a Japanese theme would be awesome for BB. Looking forward to the trailer.

I think they will patch the game so that you can have "vacation/rental" spots in liveable worlds.
