I guess it is what that certain person would consider a failure. I for one think that all the missing things in the sims 4 pretty much says failure. I cannot enjoy it for missing toddlers, open world, cars and a long list of other things that I feel made the game fun and worth playing. If you like it the way it is then all I can say is more power to you. I just miss so many things in the game I don't think it's that much fun.
