do you think the sims5 should have true maid cleaning that actually do the job its hired for?

Yes, they should clean though I am not sure if I play very clean sims but they never make enough mess to justify hiring a maid. Counters, sinks, bathtubs get dirty quite rarely and I like to give my sims dishwashers. Also, the trash bin doesn't get filled that often. There is not much to do for a regular maid service in TS4. Also, I noticed form that video that they removed some of the interactions that required maid service, like spray for bugs, make beds. I believe in TS1 maids also watered the houseplants.
