Mine drink both. They have coffee every morning. And I can never remember which tea creates which emotion, so I make them drink each type until I get the right emotion. So they drink lots of tea. ....

I prefer tea over coffee in real life and so do my sims. Sometimes they drink tea but none of them owns a coffee machine.
