Do your sims exercise?
Do your sims jog to slim down? Get centered with yoga? Shoot hoops for fun? Swim, box, climb or spar?

I only start doing it when they have the Bodybuilder aspiration or if it's a job requirement because I find that it's really easy to increase the Fitness skill and even if my sims have already maxed it out, they still continue to use the treadmill even if they don't have much use from it anymore.
