Documenting our stories/legacies

I'd really like that. I'm on gen 28 of my legacy, and I always find it a bit sad to look at the family tree and only see grandparents at most. I'd love to be able to have the whole tree saved in game. I also miss writing sim bios, like you could in TS2 (i cant remember if we could in TS3) but it was always a nice little feature.
I've started to record my legacy outside of the game, on powerpoint, with some pictures so that I can remember the key details and info, which is really helping to keep track of things, but I would definitely like it if there was some way of doing that in game - even if it was just adding key info to a sim profile on a family tree.

Yes to all, especially the photo album, I really miss that feature from TS2, it was so simple.

This would be game changing to me! I get bored so fast because my sims remember nothing and nothing is of any long lasting importance. It would make all the difference to me if I could snap pictures of their activities, add it to their album, write a caption and look back through the album as I play. That was one of the greatest things about TS2 for me.

One of the best things to me was the memory feature in Sims 2. I LOVED looking at elder sims' memories to see who they married, divorced etc. I think it is my most wished for features!

Yes, it would be lovely, but it is not essential for me.

Yes for those simmers who want to document gameplay. After doing that for the first three versions all I want to do now is play and take a few screenshots to share.

I'm a writer and if it's just written inside my game, then I'm the only one who sees it. If I feel compelled to share, I'll either open a blog and share the link on this site, or, as I've been doing until most recently, I'll post it on the "What Happened In Your Game Today" thread.

At a minimum. The other aspects (photo album, writing bios, etc.) I can do on my own (though an in-game way to do this might be helpful).

I can see why people would want these features, but for me the game already offers everything I need - screenshots and sandbox to write a story in. I'll write the story for my sims using external programs. Heck, I've done it multiple times already.

I do storytelling, and mainly for my own enjoyment, but I don't need to document it within the game. I'm bad about remembering to take screen shots, so an in-game system wouldn't help much at all. Though if I recall correctly, you can actually assign a photo as a memory and write a caption already within the game. I understand it's not as robust as in previous games.

And MCCC (I know, not everyone can or wants to use mods) does have a gedcom export.
