That's really annoying, both that it's still happening and that they said it was fixed. I've been really lucky though. I haven't had that problem on community lots in ages. I haven't had any successful home break ins either. The vamp will attempt it, but then they turn around and walk off the lot for some reason.
They still happen, but they are quicker now, it seems.
Also, funny story: Yesterday a vampire came and did his sneaking-up-to-my-door animation... stopped, and slunk away.
I don't know what the reason REALLY is, but I'd like to think it's because he realized two Master Vampires and a Ghost were the residents of the house. B)
