I have huge gardens too but I'm assuming we will have to put them in greenhouses or in the household inventory during the winter. It would be cool if we could cover them or they would somehow go dormant but I doubt it will be that intricate of a process. My hope is we get some sort of warning either from a weather station or even a drop down.. maybe something orange even like when your electricity is going to be shut off. I don't want my plants to suddenly die. I'm worried about playing in rotation also. Either way though I'm sure there will be some way for you to plan ahead..
