Does anyone know if you can take the retraiting potion out of you inventory and sell it?

I was wondering if you can sell the retraining potion in retail, or/or can copy it with a cloning machine

  • I have no idea. I'm only commenting on this thread, because it bugs me when I post something and I see how many views it's had and yet nobody cared to respond. :)

I am pretty sure my retraiting potion is sitting next to my cloning machine and has been cloned several times.
  • Okay, so Greg here doesn't have a spare 5k satisfaction points laying around to buy you a Re-Traiting Potion so I, his magnificent and glorious Watcher, used my awesome powers of cheatingness to get a Re-Traiting Potion from build/buy mode so Greg can show off that it's just like any other object you can place on your lot. Now Greg here also doesn't own a shop, but I, as his magnificent and glorious Watcher - oh, did I already said that? -, do have some experience with the retail bugs features from Get to Work and am pretty sure (about 99.7%) that you can have your sims sell that item at retail :p

  • I can’t answer if you can sell them, but I will share something related. I often clean out the aspiration points for my elders by buying up a bunch of potions before they die, saving them for the younger sims. You can buy one of those drink trays for lemonade and put 6 potions on each tray. Makes it easier for safekeeping.

@babajayne thank you for the tip!

That's an interesting inheritance. Love it!
  • I’m still trying to earn enough points to try one. I didn’t know you could collect and sell them. That would be interesting to do, sort of like a rare item.

I have a potion shop. I didn’t know there was a retraiting potion till a little awhile ago. Many times you can download potions from the gallery, I believe I’m going to try to find some there.
