Does Seasons Slow The Game Down?

I'm playing the game on a low end pc, and I expected the performance to be rather limited, but I'm very happy with it all. It might be a bit choppy when I record for a movie, or if I run a web browser (with 12 running tabs) in the background, so I just try to limit the other programs. I did notice less activity on community lots, there seems to be fewer random siims walking about, or they take longer to appear, but I can live with that.
