There was such an uproar about it being an online service.... so EA pulls back on those plans and replaces it with packs that barely add anything to the game and charging full game prices (yeah I'm just talking the expansions), but really .... look at the content added by an expansion and ask yourself if there is REALLY $60 worth of content in those things... personally I don't think so. Sims 4 has turned into one huge money grab and it's quite disgusting and distasteful.
