When EA got it's dirty hands on Maxis I hoped against hope that somehow Maxis would retain it's integrity. I just did a little math, and do you want to know how much the FULL Sims 4 experience costs? At release prices it'd be over 700 dollars. Now ask yourself... if you think SIms 4 is cool and fun, do you think it's $700 cool? This whole concept of selling everything piecemeal is getting a bit out of control don't you think? Now they drop a star wars pack that their own research told them noone wanted? Yeah, I'm done.
For me, no as you compare what was offered that was in each version up till now you had the ability to unlimited World building and it was limited in Sims 2 but you still had access, in Sims 4 it does not exist. In Sims 3 had the ability to customize or add lots to each world, in Sims 4 you do not. In Sims 3 you can customize colors outside of the primary and secondary colors to whatever look you want, not in Sims 4. In Sims 3 whatever feature that was available in each for the most part can be added to each world, In Sims 4 some features you can't and it is limited to that pack like Apts which is restricted to el and CL and no apts in other neighborhoods and no building apts from scratch and they are more features limited each pack. I can go on so I will stop there, no Sims 4 will never be worth $700 or more.
