I don't really look at traits for my Sims partners. If there's chemistry I just let things roll along as they roll. In my legacy challenge, one of my Sims heirs husband had the lazy trait. & I think it was the first time I have ever played a Sim with that trait. & the piles of laundry left on the floor just drove me crazy. I rolled that trait for their children and the next heir was 'lazy'. It took me two generations to phase out that lazy trait.
I have never played with a glutton Sim either, & I'm not sure I'd like that for my Sims partner. But yeah, I let the chips fall as they fall. I try not to control too much with my Sims as it relates to their partners.
