That's exactly how I feel. I'm not a big live player because I really just don't like the simplicity of the sims and how they react and that I have to literally "direct" every aspect of their lives instead of them showing me what they want to do by their autonomous behavior.

So I spend time renovating worlds and lots and houses for stories I've created in my head, all ready to play and get excited for it, and then once I'm actually in live mode I'm like ok, so now it's just point and click, you do this, you do that ... why are you doing that? That's totally the opposite of your traits I assigned you, etc. Then I get frustrated and close the game.

So this pack will help me to achieve both things, the enjoyment from building/decorating while having goals and restrictions to keep it interesting. It's a lot different to decorate when being told what a person wants and keeping it within a budget as opposed to just freely decorating and ignoring the cost of it like you do when just building/decorating. Gaining reputation for jobs well done, etc. will also make me want to achieve that higher reputation.

So yeah, for me it forces me to "play" but also keeps my interest by making my game play be about something I do enjoy doing.

And I know this is not for everybody, but I am super happy with it.

There has been a ton ... A TON, of packs/kits that haven't made me excited, just a mehhh it's ok. As a matter of fact the only packs that actually made me happy when announced were C&D, Seasons, and Parenthood. The rest were just, it's ok, I'm sure I will find a use for it some day. (except for Jtb).
