Do you think the “reveal” really is as the trailer shows? With a swiping before and after transition with sparkles and with Sims reacting in awe and stuff? I feel it’s too corny to be edited in, so I have a feeling it’s actually part of the gameplay. I do hope it is coz it’s really rewarding to see how much has changed when it’s presented a la HGTV lol

I know this message does not belong to this thread, answering in case someone else has the same problem, when the lag happens, opening settings tab (from up right corner) and closing it again, usually makes the FPS to return to normal.

It might be fun to give my sim a small design studio business.
They can have art painting as a side business and sell their paintings at their studio. Any skill building related to their career can be done there.
They can call up any clients and have them come over for a social/business visit.

Perhaps there are some other pack features I can take advantage of there.
This would be just for a little extra immersion.

I love your idea! I have an “arts center” I use that has a floor (and office space) for each of my creative Sims. The bottom floor has the photography studio on one side, and a painting studio in the back, the second floor has the music room, third floor has the “maker” space... can’t wait to add in the office for an interior decorator, probably put it in near my stylist areas. I can see this pack fitting in so well with other packs that focus on the creative!

Yeah, photograpy would also be another hobby to have.
I can see my sim putting up her before-and-after shots of her most recent and best makeovers.

My sim's design studio will probably be similar to my Fashion Stylist sims business.
It's actually her mom's business that she will inherit. It's a fashion boutique with an office and bedroom on the second floor.


I have really enjoyed playing this as a mother/daughter team.


I have a feeling that the two careers will have some crossover features.


They often spend the night here instead of going home after a long day.


I see two objects that I can use for Nami's design studio office.
Her studio will probably be much smaller than the boutique.

I really really hope the toaster oven is functional with some cool new recipes.

I've never really encountered a toaster oven before - what is it most commonly used for? is it about space saving?

It's a smaller oven that fits on the counter top. In addition to toasting bread you can bake, make pizza and do things you'd normally use a full size oven for.

Wow look at that I'm actually ending up in the positivity thread first for a new pack! I'm VERY interested in this pack, as it really do uses the strengths of the game to create new gameplay - and especially if it's true that we're getting multiple new sectional systems AND likes and dislikes - and I LOVE the look of the furniture. As a Swede anything IKEA looking makes me feel right at home ngl. :D

I have a lot of hope built up for the pack already, so lets "hold the thumbs" - as we say in Sweden - for a great pack.
