When you're in offline mode, Origin is still running, Check your Task manager. Yea your game works better because you have removed a lot of the load, using origin takes a lot.But it does take less in offline mode. If you remove origin from your computer your games will not work.
We also need internet. Sometimes it is running even when I am not playing sims games. I think for more easy loading.
I would pay more for a game if I could play without internet.
I had to accept that Origin will always be with us, Also I have noticed that my Sims games start better through Origin. Origin does a lot more then people know.
