Maybe online play... People complain about online play a lot, but really they're just regressive. I've been playing since TS1 if that counts for anything. I've always loved multiplayer on the console versions, and it would be cool if we could have that on the PC. No one is forcing it. A lot of the simmers feel like it's being forced when it's really not.
Playing on console is not the same as playing on pc - as consoles are all the same system and very compatible - but not the case with pc. Like I run a real high end gaming system on 8 cores capable of running at 4.5 ghz where as my friend across the way runs a laptop only capable of 3.2 ghz. I can run games with no issue that my neighbors machine will crash just trying to boot the game - that can be a problem as well as the fact I also have very high speed hard wired in internet (110 dollar a month) - my neighbor runs on wifi on the 19.99 a month internet special - believe me their experience and my experience is a totally different thing. On top of it I don't like playing games with other people, where as my neighbor craves it and is always frustrated with crashes and constant disconnecting on their pc. But on his X-box he does not experience the same issues that he does with his lap top. Keep in mind his laptop is not too shabby at all either - ( he has an I.7, 4 core just 2 years old - but it proves a point that console and pc are very different experiences for players trying to play the same game on pcs.
I don't think we'll have to worry about an online version of TS4. This game afterall was online when it was Olypus and EA changed it to single player mode because of the community complaining. It has to be an expansion pack or a major update to the base game. I think an EP is the most likely with GP a little less likely. Now SimGuruDuke will be showing off the one of the next console releases which by the way I think is Cats and Dogs.
