one thing that really plum is this game no longer belongs to us.
if Origin went poof then so does our game.
If we no longer can afford internet, then there goes our game.
so really no, we really dont get to keep it anymore.
sad to see it to the point where we are basically renting our game rather than owning a copy you know you can always use.
The very reasons why I have the Sims 3 and 2 on disk.
And the original. :)
I hope you do not encounter any problems using it - because I attempted to reinstall my Sims 3 from my disks after once removing Origin and cleaning my registry - back when I was unhappy with Sims 4 and they would not install - it told me the codes were already used - which of course they were in Origin in my account - I had even re- cleaned my registry and because Origin still exists even though it was not then on my pc - I could not use the codes that came with my disks to reinstall - apparently once you play them with Origin installed - Origin kills your codes as being used. The only way I could reinstall them was reinstall Origin, and then reinstall them from Origin back onto my pc.
Also the Sims 2 Ultimate pack kept me from installing the Sims 2 as well as I used the code from my Sims 2 base game to get the Ultimate pack before EA gave them to every one because Window 10 was giving me trouble installing the Sims 2- so even having them on disk is not allowing me to reinstall them from the disks.
I hope you have better luck then I did.
