I have the Sims 3 installed from the discs so no issues there. When I first reinstalled the Sims 2 a couple of weeks ago I first used the UC. Had an issue with the screen resolution so I removed the UC and installed the base game from the disc to see if it was an Origin issue. The game worked but I still had the issue. So I searched and found a resolution for the graphics issue then removed the base game and once again installed the UC. Simply because I didn't feel like installing all those discs.
