Superficial updates are nice, but they aren’t going to make the game more fun. I’d love more trait slots along with several more traits, an attraction system, better AI that reflects personality and relationships, and more emotions.
Many game changers, including Plumbella, have done videos on these topics. It shouldn’t be too hard to get them on board, but this is different... there’s a driving force behind the skin tones coordinated effort. I’ve seen it in the knitting community - the woke crowd messages influencers and straight up gives them a script to follow, demanding they put diversity statements on their sites, demanding name changes claiming cultural appropriation, and these are small businesses that are threatened to be put on black lists if they don’t acquiesce. I don’t want to be part of that kind of mob.
