EA will give us more skintones. What should be next than? #EAlisten part II

I think that #fixpersonalities tag is too general. For example in #fixskintones our request was clear - more skintones swatches and visual bugs fix. In #fixpersonalities it is harder to highlight simple things we need. I guess that in general we need to ask for emotion long term effect. It is illogical when you can play a sim, and romance with another one which is in realtionschip and you can woohoo in house where the second sim is living with family and there are no negative emotion between your partners previous family and your sim. I remember when I was playing Get Famous first time and I wasn't aware that Thorne Bailey has a family and I picked up him by my new sim in club. After that they get married and Octavia was happy as my sim best friend.

Then I'd say #FixTheTraits. The traits don't have enough in them to make them matter. They get overriden by moodlets. There could also be more traits.

I had no idea the idea of a life simulation game better reflecting the diversity of humanity was so controversial within this community. That including more, better skintones is considered as pandering to a "certain group" or too politically correct to some here is disappointing, to say the least. People like being seen, included and represented, and that's a big reason for the changes to the skintones - there's nothing "political" about it.

But I can't go on without entering very dangerous territory, so I'll stop there before I get into trouble.

I agree that more lots in the worlds are sorely needed, or at least more empty worlds in the vein of Newcrest that we can build up as we see fit. There should be ways to accommodate those with less powerful computers while giving players with higher-end computers options to maximize their experience.

And personalities/traits should absolutely be more fleshed out. Sims being happy nearly all the time as long as they're well cared-for and their environment is pleasing is just...boring. More slots for personality traits would be a nice addition, but I believe that fleshing out existing traits would be a massive improvement and improve our experience immensely.

James Turner is currently playing an alien in his legacy lets play. Maybe get onto him and point out his next generation kid is actually genetically going to be completely unrelated to the family he's played since forever.

@Simmingal @CelSims wait what is this about alien genetics? An alien's kids don't inherit genetics from their parents? That's so weird, in my game they do. There is the alien face melting bug in my game though.

I think it might be combination of the 3 problems
genetics, facemelting and the unnatural hair colors not being available for kids
it just makes their kids look nothing like them

I also personally think its dumb we can't link alien disguise and their true form or delete the disguise all together
cause sometimes you just want game to stop hiding your beautiful aliens behind ugly sims
or even just make their disguise look more like them

fix the life simulation first.

I really don’t mind the current set of lots and sizes of the worlds, I feel like there are more important things that should be worked on. #FixThePersonalities

For me that postulate is too general, but I hope that EA will fix something.

I feel like they're doing skintones just for show. Just like pride.
