I built a dump/landfill. My homeless sims can fill their needs there if they don't mind the squalor, or teens hangout. I used scaled down upgraded fireplaces to have random fires around :)
That build is AMAZING! Did you put it on the gallery? I'd totally download that!
I build my Sims a home too, and just kind of leaned into the fact that all I can do is weird, unmatched and wacky and came up with this.

My Sims are certainly enjoying the new neighborhood too.... finally managed to buy their first home after Uni (at almost 40, seeing as how her parents used to always buy her everything)...
