I think the trailers don‘t do the pack justice. They come off as very preachy and tell us to save a planet that doesn‘t need saving because nothing bad ever happens in there. The blog post has more of the typical Sims „Do whatever you want. We won‘t judge“ vibe. They should have simply read the blog post. I think it would have gotten less backlash than the ‚together we can save the universe‘ kumbaya goodism they released. I‘m sure a lot of the features will be used often for storytelling. We can have clean, upper class neighborhoods and run down, polluted neighborhoods and basically create a two-class-system (rich vs poor). We can have our poor sims search for furniture in the dumpster. We can have a more believable environment for our runaway sims. The players that like to play self-sustaining sims now can make candles and juice and sell them. Players that liked the scientist career can now invent more stuff with the Civil Design career. Players that liked cleaning up Sulani now can clean up more neighborhoods/worlds. This game has to offer something for all kinds of players but the trailer made it look like it was solely something for hip, young Gretas.
I agree with you but the thing is a lot of people don't read the blogs for a lot of people the only thing that's here those trailers and unfortunately the trailers don't show a whole lot which is a shame because that's what trailers are supposed to do and I think the pack is going to suffer because of it but maybe they'll get a new marketing team for the next trailer or maybe the marketing team that used will get better maybe they're new
