Eco Lifestyle NAPs Mod to disable NAPs you don't want?

I haven't purchased Eco Lifestyle because there are three NAPs I don't want in my game. Anyone know if there are mods around that will disable specific NAPs while allowing others?

I know you can deactivate NAPs in the settings. But if I wanted a sim to start voting on a NAP in a neighborhood would that be the only NAP active? And would those 3 NAPs I don't want still be voted in?

The 3 NAPs I don't want in my game ever:

I have a family I am playing Off the Grid and after Eco Lifestyle came out the mod I was using for solar power & hot water was discontinued. And since I haven't found another mod, I will need EL to get the most out of that lot trait.

Thanks

  • But if I wanted a sim to start voting on a NAP in a neighborhood would that be the only NAP active?

    Yes.

    No.

While my napoverhaul does not completely disable them, it disables the annoying features that come with them. It's split up into modules for the different NAPs so you could totally only install the 3 files that go with the NAPs you do not like.
  • @83bienchen I love your mods! Do you have one that tweaks the eco footprint as I've had some problems with lots turning green with no green appliances and finding it hard to get certain neighborhoods industrial and etc.
  • If you disable NPC voiting before loading into a save after installing Eco Lifestyle, then the only neighbourhoods with active NAPs would be in Evergreen Harbor, because that starts with NAPs. If NPCs can't vote, then only your votes will count and you can vote in what you want.

So you don't really need mods if you go carefully with that method. Once a neighbourhood has four active NAPs, it just stays that way forever, because NPCs don't ever petition to remove or replace NAPs. So if you really wanted, you could pick four NAPs you like and then apply that to everywhere in the game and then it will just stay like that forever.
  • @kaiwrysims: If you install my sims4me_slowerecofootprintchange_green package, that will slow down footprint changes towards green, so you're neighboorhoods will tend more towards industrial ecofootprint.
Lot's turning green without green appliances isn't a bug, though. Plants and some walls do also count as helping with a green eco footprint.
  • @83bienchen thanks for the suggestion. I pay attention to walls and floors but I put a lot of plants in my builds and I was hoping for something that would at least tune down the effects plants have on eco footprint specifically.
  • I don't know such a mod, plus it might not even be feasible as I believe the eco footprint has to be changed/disabled for each plant individually. It also isn't my cup of tea at all, I'm going to opt out on that wish. I like adding to the challenge of achieving green status, but your wish is totally against my playstyle and I personally feel it doesn't make much sense.

Oh okay no worries. I have to admit I'm still trying to understand how eco footprint and such works as I just got the pack lol
