Not me, but I know you can change NAPs or get influence points by left-clicking the mailbox at home.
An option to send a visitor home might be found by clicking at the visitor. it's not inside a menu.

The sim was staying 6 days at my sim's micro (32 X 32 tiles) home and since there was only one bed with the computer underneath and the tv on the wall next to the bed. The sim visiting kept waking up my sim so I was ready for that sim to leave.
I did a google search and if you want a sim to leave when they're on a 6 day visit, open the calendar and end their visit.
