Oh. Also, maybe adults could "lecture kids about how good they have it" while seniors do more reminiscing. Again, there are opportunities for the same kinds of interactions to express themselves differently across generations.
Perhaps teens and young adults should lecture elders about how good they have it? ;) After all, many millennials are having difficulty with career progression and buying their own homes, things that our baby boomer parents have frequently been able to do. My parents were younger than me when they bought our house. I am saving up but due to the terrible job market, I've no idea if I will be able to get something suitable. Then again, I only have one income and they had two, but house prices are famously sky high these days, and especially in our area.
The houseing market really has gone bonkers.
I'm so glad I don't live in sydney, to be as close to the cbd as I am in the city I'm in, I'd be paying the same rent as what I am here (sharing a 4 br house with one other person), for just one room!
The median house price for sydney is over a million.
Where I am, it's crept up to about $450,000. Never been so glad to be living in a boring city.
Maybe they should include that in the game.
Make all the really nice city areas really expensive, but have plenty of job options, and have the middle of nowhere places really cheap... but make it harder to get a job in the middle of nowhere.
Give our sims the same misery that young adults have today. :p
