The Naturopath career feels badly implemented.
- The work from home task is simply one little task, for me it's always been "forage for alchemy ingredients." I have no idea if there's other tasks but that's all I get.
- The treat ailments from home part, should have come with a chair or examination table or something for patients to go to. As it is, patients come over to your house and then run all over your house while you have to chase them down to ask them the needed questions.
- See patients from home doesn't let you visually identify the ailment and immediately treat it. Instead, you have to go through a whole spiel and if you do treat it as soon as it allows, without doing every single other task on the list, it says you've done a bad job. (When gnome lure patient or fire passion patient comes over to your house, you're going to want to treat that as soon as they walk through the door.)
- Doesn't automatically give you the day off for holidays like every other career and instead you have to take a personal day if you want the day off.
- Only has 5 named promotion levels but to complete the aspiration you have to get the career to level 10.
All in all, it should have been more like the Veterinarian career. Patients with ailments come over to your home or off the lot business and you treat them. Why they divided it into three separate "jobs", 2 of which are boring and unnecessary is beyond me.
Working from home I get 3 different tasks (but I do have a household of 5)
- Restore Needs of 3 Sims (via Social and I get this one the most)
- Forage for Alchemy Ingredients 3 times
- Design a Balance Program via computer (which I skip because I don't have computers/tv for my game canon)
- Study Holistic Care via Computer(which I skip because I don't have computers/tv for my game canon)
- Educate Sims about Balance (x1)
I wish there was more to do too. I haven't tried treating patience from home yet. But running after them then a questionnaire for each sounds too tedious, even if it wasn't a chair and just them going to the room with the Apothecary Table would be helpful X /
I am only on level 4 of the career so I haven't seen past that.
edit: grrr 2 computer tasks for a non-computer gameplay... great now I might lose performance.
Do you still get that phone call one hour before work starts? I don‘t. So I don‘t know how to work from home or take a vacation day.
I don't remember, I'll check next time I am in game which will be in about an hour-ish.

Yeah, I started getting more tasks once my sim bought a computer. I guess because I didn't have one on my lot I didn't get any "study at computer" tasks?
Also, the career levels do go past level 5. I forgot about career branches. So once you hit level 6 you can choose two branches, one focused on fitness and the other on gardening.
That is weird, I don't have a computer on my lot but it does ask for it often as a daily : /
Maybe it is just really bad rng? Like atm I cannot get a Rose (common rarity) Crystal to complete my crystals collects in this play (usually it is only the extra JA crystals that I get last) X /
