So I'm playing in a lot (with the pancakes who have saved their marriage and now live in a comfortable home) and the top floor has a room for aesthetics... well i got the dusty busty kit and that top floor although it has no stairs to it accumulates dust...which makes the dusty fiend appear...one of which has appeared to spontaneously combust. Now I have been stuck unable to save or to build stairs to put the fire out. Does anyone have any ideas what can I do? The fire has now spread beyond the room to where the roof is so the sim can't reach it to put it out even if I teleport them there.Please don't say roll back your save because I've invested too much by this point.... I thought the fire would burn itself out but it just keeps looping around the top floor and rain doesn't put it out either. Any ideas would be much appreciated.

Have you called the fire department? Maybe they can put it out.

No I can't save. I think guys it's done for. I will have to just quit. I've been watching this fire burn around in circles on the roof for an hour lol

Sorry to hear that. I don't know why they disable things like save during a fire. Fires have been buggy for a long time and that just prevents us from resolving it on our own.

if only you had spellcasters they could probably chillio it from distance but since its pancakes you probably don't

and can't go to build mode to delete roof to get sims there or anything ... :/

and cant leave lot cause fire...

I'm afraid pancakes have been doomed by the overlord

im not sure but can you get to build mode through manage worlds? and then edit it so your sims can get there to put out fire or add sprinkler thing or something

@Evee95 I would hate for you to have to quit your game...

Have you tried teleporting your sim to the top floor, so they can put out the fire? If you try it, be careful to not set your sim on fire...

Yeah i did teleport (Eliza obvs) and i put the fire out in the room but where the fire had spread to the roof section there was no option to teleport to that part.

Can't manage worlds or anything. Can't even get food because they're all stood outside with the easter bunny the fire fighters the maid and the gardener "panicking". And the dog has an exclamation mark saying "your pet needs you" even though he's out there on the road with our party of NPCs. And my partner isn't helping he just keeps singing "The roof, the roof, the roof is on fire".

I did my best for the pancakes but I can't go back now. LOL @Simmingal the overlords have doomed them...
