It's a mega pain if you have Laundry Day. The clothes changing generates a ton of washing.
Also, do not host parties during cold/hot weather as the other sims turn up in party outfits which do not protect them from the weather, cue several deaths.
Once i had 3 guests die in a christmas party. There was a snow storm and they never made it to my sim's home.
