Fairies!

Fairies weren't done right in TS3

I want fairies to come back. And it'd be cool if they cast more spells like the sleeping spell and mischief spells casted at Sims from a distance (remember that scene in the movie Maleficent where the titular character pranked the three fairies several times?). And in a fairy game pack, I would like to see more magical hairstyles other than the tacky fairy hair styles from Sims 3 Supernatural. If there is to be a new walk style, it better be the improved flying animation made specifically for fairies. They should also come with the ability to hide their wings whenever they're in the human world, appearing as human as possible.

I think they might expand on Forgotten Hollow! If you look at the map I can imagine they could add neighbourhoods like a fairy fountain neighbourhood at the waterfall, Werewolf pack neighbourhood in the woods above, and Witches cabin over the ravine across the big dead tree.
I hope they add supernaturals soon, because this thread is making me hyped for them.

I turned Zelda Mae into a wicked fairy who tormented Sunset Valley residents with her nonstop fairy pranks!

Oh, the fun... I REALLY hope they bring back the fairies!

I think every other Game pack should be a "Supernatural" GP.

so We had Vampires, Parenthood, So yeah after Pets I'm hoping it's the Werewolves GP, then {common GP}, followed by Sorcerers GP.

I'm not so sure about fairies...

I have my plot, where my character's Maternal Grandparents are Sorcerers, but recently I've been thinking about my Grandfather being a Sorcerer and Grandmother a Fairy... But that would mean I'm part fairy...

I just hope we get like a supernatural gp with witches and fairies and elves and werewolves and mermaids .and I would love it if you could pick if your light or dark on all the supernatural elements

Faeries in celtic mythology are so extensive and convoluted. Honestly, they could do A LOT with them and they should def return.

I would really love to see The Fae as opposed to twinkly little fairies, or perhaps both. With darkness and light, it's the eternal struggle, after all.

People always forget that "fairies" aren't all cute and sparkly. Trolls are a type of fairy, kelpies which drown people are a type of fairy. The Sluagh were fairies that were born from the souls of evil people. Fairies can be dark and evil just like any other creature. Because they're so many types of fairies besides "tiny girls with butterfly wings that sit prettily on flowers".

The misconception that they're all cute and therefore girly irritates me. Fairies are pranksters but they're also petty, manipulative and childish.This same misconception came up in Pokemon years back when they type was announced. Yes, it's the common way people think of fairies when they're mentioned and they're commonly portrayed as sweet and sparkly but common isn't synonymous with correct or exclusive.

Anyways, I prefer fairies over plant sims anyday. They have similar abilities in past games which is why I brought up plant sims but fairies are so much more fun. Fairies, witches, werewolves and mermaids are all occults I wouldn't complain about having.

For me, I personally loved the fairies in Sims 3. :) (I’ve played them the most besides the mermaids and the occasional witches. Though I feel the mermaids could have been fleshed out a lot more.)

I think the number one thing that annoyed me about fairies were their obsession with the Fairy House parties, lol.
